LACO Goes National: Christof Perick’s inaugural season as music director with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra will be broadcast nationally on American Public Radio beginning in July. The 13 weekly programs, ranging from 90 minutes to two hours, will be heard locally on KUSC (91.5 FM) Saturdays at 4 p.m. beginning July 3. Featured programs include Bach’s “Brandenburg” Concerti, Ravel’s “Mother Goose” Suite and Schoenberg’s Chamber Symphony No. 1. The series will be hosted by Alan Chapman of Occidental College, who has been LACO’s pre-concert lecturer for the last five seasons.
