Pacific Chorale Sets Season, Opens With Music of U.S. Composers

IRVINE — The Pacific Chorale will open its three-concert 1993-94 season at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. with a program of music by American composers, including Samuel Barber, Rene Clausen and Kirke Mecham.
The series will continue on Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. with a concert of holiday music, and conclude April 23 at 8 p.m. with works by French composers, including Faure, Poulenc, Messiaen and Florent Schmitt.
Season tickets are $34 to $112. Individual tickets are $15 to $40. For information, call (714) 252-1234.
