Ford Expects Lower Sales in Europe: Ford Motor Co. has again lowered its expectations for business in Europe and said it may have to lay off more workers there. Booker said the European economy may worsen before recovering, requiring further cuts. Ford eliminated 10,000 positions in Europe earlier this year.
