The Leo Freedman Foundation has awarded a $1 million grant to the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, center officials announced Tuesday. The five-year grant will be distributed in $200,000 increments beginning in September. The first year’s funds will help support the center’s dance series, Imagination Celebration and education and outreach programs. The Leo Freedman Foundation is a charitable trust dedicated to the promotion of the arts in Orange County.
