L.B. Opera to Stage ‘Carmen’ at the Ford

Alice Baker, Patricia Prunty, James Schwisow and Roy Stevens will be the principals in three performances of Bizet’s “Carmen” by the Long Beach Opera at John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood on Aug. 14, 19 and 21, all at 8 p.m.
Sung in English, these performances will be conducted by George Pehlivanian, with stage direction by Brian Kulick. The production designer is Mark Wendland.
