Ballet Pacifica Announces Repertory for New Season

LAGUNA BEACH — Ballet Pacifica has announced dates and repertory for its 31st season. Concert programs will be at the Irvine Barclay Theatre on Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 2:30 and 8 p.m.
The schedule:
* Oct. 8 and 9: Tudor’s “Sunflowers” (music by Janacek); premiere of a work by William Soleau; Colin Connor’s “Variations and Fugue” (Vivaldi).
* March 25 and 26: Tina Gerstler’s “Personal Statement: Common Knowledge” (Lisbeth Woodies); James Jones’ “Liebeslieder Waltzes” (Brahms); Rick McCullough’s “By Lamplight” (Rachmaninoff).
* May 13 and 14: Philip Jerry’s “Our Town” (Copland); Molly Lynch’s “Counterpoint” (Steve Reich); Israel Gabriel’s “Duetto” (Barber).
Season tickets: $40 for adults; $30 for students and senior citizens. Individual tickets: $15, adults; $12, students and seniors. The company also will dance the “Nutcracker” Dec. 16-23 at the Laguna Playhouse. Information: (714) 642-9275.
