Outlook Worsens for Japan, Europe: The prospects for economic growth in Japan and Europe look gloomier than they did two months ago, but the American recovery remains on track, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said. Kumi Shigehara, director of the OECD’s economics department, said the forecasts made in the think tank’s last economic outlook, published in July, may have to be revised downward.
