Camarillo 29, San Marcos 14--The Scorpions scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to break open a close game. Tailback Robert Smith capped an 80-yard drive, all on the ground, with a 33-yard score. Later in the third quarter, Camarillo mounted a three-play, 83-yard scoring drive. Jay Nirenberg found wide receiver Ryan Joyce on a 44-yard scoring pass play.

Smith gained 125 yards in 18 carries and fullback Barren Hatch added 105 yards in 17 carries, including an 11-yard score in the second quarter. Camarillo finished with 258 yards of offense.
