COSTA MESA : Jewish Center to Hold Peace Accord Talks

The Jewish Community Center is sponsoring two lectures in the coming weeks about the newly signed peace accord between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Dan Schueftan, an adviser to the Israeli foreign ministry and defense force and consultant to members of Congress, will speak in favor of the agreement Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Yechiel Leiter, executive director of the YESHA Council’s foreign desk and a spokesman for Israel’s right-wing Gush Emunim party, will speak against the accord on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
Both events will be at the community center, 250 E. Baker St., and are open to the public.
