From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Using slight movements of her head to answer “yes” or “no,” a seventh-grade mathematics teacher paralyzed by arsenic poisoning told investigators she was afraid her husband was trying to kill her. Confronted by police, James Boley, 43, a high school counselor, said he fed his wife poison because he wanted to spend more time with her at home, authorities said.
