Scout Benefit Raises $18,000

The Verdugo Hills Council, Boy Scouts of America announced that it made $18,000 from a recent golf tournament.
More than 120 golfers attended the benefit to support the 150 Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Explorer troops in Glendale, Burbank, La Crescenta, La Canada Flintridge, Sunland, Tujunga and Eagle Rock.
The benefit also supports the council’s Learning for Life school program.
