Carter Hawley Names Strategic Planning Chief: Carter Hawley Hale Stores, operator of the Broadway chain, said retail consultant Ronald R. Beegle will be joining the company as senior vice president for strategic planning, effective Dec. 1. Beegle is founder and president of Norray Management Co., a Madison, N.J.-based consulting firm specializing in financial management and sports marketing. Before establishing Norray in January, 1992, Beegle was director of strategic planning and analysis at Saks Fifth Avenue. As vice president for strategic planning--a new position at Carter Hawley--Beegle is expected to devise and coordinate merchandising, marketing and financial programs.
