THOUSAND OAKS : Council to See Video for Enticing Business
- Share via
On Tuesday evening, the Thousand Oaks City Council will be treated to a panoramic tour of their favorite city--without ever leaving their council chamber seats.
The Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce will present a seven-minute video, partly sponsored by the city, designed to entice new businesses to the area. The video extols the virtues and amenities of Thousand Oaks to corporate executives or relocation specialists looking for a pleasant area to consider moving a business.
“Prevailing westerly, ocean breezes and moderate temperatures provide an ideal, Mediterranean climate,” the video’s narrator promises. “Easy access to important business, cultural and population centers on the Pacific Rim, with attractive commercial spaces in a safe, uncongested environment, make Thousand Oaks your ideal location.”
The video--whose $23,000 cost was shared half by the city and half by the chamber and local industry--will be soon sent out around the country and internationally, if there is an interest, said Gary Koppenjan, the chamber’s communications manager.
For more information, call the chamber at 499-1993.
