First Valley National Earns $64,000 in 9 Months

First Valley National Bank, a Lancaster-based community bank with a second branch in Palmdale, reported a profit of $64,000 for the first nine months of this year, up from $4,000 in the same period a year earlier.
First Valley was founded in late 1990 by a group of local business owners. The bank’s assets totaled $30.4 million as of Sept. 30, up 29% from a year earlier, said First Valley President Wayne Rosenberger.
