Man Kills Girlfriend, 3 Children and Himself

NEW ORLEANS — A man shot to death his girlfriend, their 4-month-old twin daughters and her 9-year-old daughter and then killed himself, police and neighbors said.
The woman’s 10-year-old son was hospitalized in critical condition Monday morning. A friend identified the couple as Dwayne Parker, 28, and Anna Smollen, 29. The friend said Parker told him he thought Smollen was having an affair. Police recovered an AK-47 assault rifle and two pistols.
