Workers to Receive Equity From Air France: Seven weeks after an employees strike forced the abandonment of an austerity plan and the resignation of its chairman, the carrier has offered a new proposal to return to profitability and reward employees for their contribution by giving them equity in the state-owned airline. The carrier said it intends to improve efficiency by 30% over three years through productivity improvements and cost reductions.
