West Hollywood : Shuttle Service on Sunset
- Share via
A midday shuttle service begins running Monday on the Sunset Strip.
The vans, supplementing West Hollywood’s CityLine service, will run along Sunset Boulevard every seven minutes between Sweetzer and Cory avenues. Hours of operation are weekdays 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The service, offering access to the strip’s many restaurants, shops and hotels, is free for the first month and will cost 25 cents after that.
The West Hollywood Transportation Management Organization--an arm of the city’s Chamber of Commerce--is operating the service, using about $500,000 in federal funds to buy and maintain the five shuttle vans and put up signs.
