Two Bidders Eye Gas Subsidiary: The attorney for the creditors committee of Columbia Gas Transmission Corp. said at a bankruptcy hearing that two investment groups are interested in making offers: a Philadelphia-based investment partnership named Dimeling, Schreiber & Park and an entity known as TAG Group, consisting of a subsidiary of Coastal States Petroleum and Public Service Gas & Electric of New Jersey. Also at the hearing, Judge Helen S. Balick granted a 120-day extension of the period in which Columbia Gas System Inc. and its Columbia Gas Transmission subsidiary have the exclusive right to file a reorganization plan. It is the seventh such extension granted in the case. The two companies filed for Chapter 11 protection in July, 1991.
