Todd Leary made a timely return for the Indiana Hoosiers.
Leary, who missed the 11th-ranked Hoosiers’ first two Big Ten Conference games because of a sprained knee, rescued a sluggish offense with 16 second-half points Sunday, rallying Indiana from a 15-point deficit to an 82-72 victory over No. 10 Michigan in Bloomington, Ind.
Indiana’s Alan Henderson had 19 points and 16 rebounds, while Damon Bailey scored 18 points. Indiana (10-2, 3-0) outscored Michigan, 36-10, from the foul line. Michigan fell to 11-3, 3-1
Indiana extended the nation’s longest current home winning streak to 37 games.

North Carolina State 78, Florida St. 70--Charlie Ward resumed his winter job as Florida State’s point guard, but North Carolina State (5-8, 1-2) made it a dismal debut, taking an Atlantic Coast Conference victory behind 20 points from reserve Ricky Daniels in Raleigh, N.C.
Florida State (7-5, 0-4) has a four-game losing streak.
Ward delivered a national football championship to the Seminoles on New Year’s Day, and it seemed he had hardly missed a step when he made an NBA-range three-pointer and handed out two assists early.
Ward finished with five points, six assists and four fouls.
