Boeing’s 4th-Quarter Earnings Down 15%: Due to fewer commercial airplane sales and costs of developing the new 777 twin jet, Seattle-based Boeing Co. reported earnings of $304 million, or 89 cents a share, in the final three months of 1993, compared to $357 million, or $1.05 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter sank 24% to $5.7 billion, from $7.5 billion, for the comparable 1992 period. Boeing said it expects total sales in the $20-billion-to-$21-billion range this year and plans to deliver 250 to 260 commercial jetliners this year, compared to 330 in 1993 and 441 in 1992.
