Gondringer, a point guard last year, has moved to a swing position this season and the Aztecs are reaping the benefits. Wednesday, she had 25 points and eight rebounds in a 64-60 victory over Rancho Alamitos, which stopped the Vaqueros’ 47-game Garden Grove League winning streak. She had 37 points and 13 rebounds in an 88-67 victory over Kennedy, which kept La Quinta (13-4, 7-0) alone in first place. Point guard Linda Rodriguez averaged 24.5 points in the victories, which moved the Aztecs closer to their first league title since 1990.

* Jessica Eggleston, Cypress, who had 28 points and 14 rebounds in a 59-37 victory over El Dorado and scored 42 in a 91-39 victory over Loara.
* Jennie Gadd, Troy, scored 26 points in a 54-26 victory over Sunny Hills and had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 55-52 victory over Fullerton.
* Sheri Larson, Heritage Christian, averaged 20.7 points in victories over Calvary Chapel, Rolling Hills Prep and a loss to Gethsemane Baptist.
* Tonie Mascarenas and Colleen Morris, Pacifica, each scored four goals in a county-record 17-0 soccer victory over Santiago.
