Astro Sciences Unit Gets $300,000 FEMA Order

Chatsworth-based Astro Sciences Corp. said its J&L; Information Systems unit received an order for its computer network communications products from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The order is worth more than $300,000, Astro Sciences said.
FEMA plans to use the equipment to process aid applications from thousands of area residents who suffered damage in the Jan. 17 Northridge earthquake.
J&L; Information Systems is also based in Chatsworth.
