WEEKEND TV : Basketball Playoffs and Kuralt’s Sign-Off

College basketball’s Final Four, the premieres of three shows and Charles Kuralt’s farewell highlight this weekend’s viewing choices.
The semifinals of the men’s NCAA Tournament unfold today on CBS when Arkansas plays Arizona at 2:30 p.m., followed by Duke vs. Florida at 5 p.m. on Channel’s 2 and 8.
“Media Television” examines the techniques and technology used by the media, today at 6:30 p.m. on KCET-TV Channel 28.
On Sunday, “Connections2” looks at the origins and unexpected relationships of modern life and technology, at 9 p.m. on cable’s Learning Channel.
Also Sunday on KOCE-TV Channel 50, columnist Ben Wattenberg moderates “Think Tank,” a program that deals with a single topic in the news while focusing on the trends, conditions and ideas behind the week’s headlines.
Finally, “Sunday Morning” says goodby to Kuralt, its host, who is retiring May 1, 7:30 a.m. (2), 8 a.m. (8).
