OXNARD : Man Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree

A 26-year-old Oxnard man died Friday morning when his car smashed head-on into a eucalyptus tree on the Pacific Coast Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
John A. Montoya died of head injuries after his 1993 Nissan plowed into a tree in the road’s median at 9:30 a.m., according to CHP officers. He was traveling north on the highway, just beyond the Nauman Road exit, they said.
