Abbey Posts a Loss: Abbey Healthcare Group Inc., the Costa Mesa distributor of home health-care products and services, reported a loss of $6.6 million, or 59 cents a share, for the first quarter, which included non-recurring charges of $10.4 million related to executive severance expenses, acquisition costs and field organization restructuring. That contrasted with a profit of $3.1 million, or 33 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue rose 65% to $117.4 million from $71 million.
