Countywide : Holiday Closings

Monday is Memorial Day. The following schedule will be in effect:
* City, county, state and federal offices will be closed.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* City and county libraries will be closed.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed. Home Savings of America is also closed today.
* Schools, colleges and universities will be closed. Elementary and junior high schools in the Los Alamitos Unified School District will also be closed Tuesday.
* Mail: There will be no postal service.
* Trash: Trash will be collected one day late throughout the week, except in Anaheim and Orange. There, trash normally picked up on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, but the rest of the collection schedule will remain normal.
* Buses: OCTA buses will run on a Sunday schedule.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks will be open during regular hours.
