SOUTHERN SECTION SOFTBALL PAIRINGS : Marina, Pacifica Will Play at Golden West

Top-seeded Marina will play fourth-seeded Pacifica on Tuesday at Golden West College in a Division I softball semifinal game, the Southern Section office announced Friday.
The Vikings (24-2), who had fewer previous home playoff games, had the choice of the alternate site in what should be the county’s premier game. Pacifica is 21-5-1.
The other county games were determined by a coin flip. Also in Division I, Foothill (24-6) plays Lompoc (22-5) at Canyon High School.
The Division II game between Fullerton (17-13) and top-seeded Saugus (27-2-1) will be played at Fullerton College. All begin at 3:15 p.m.
