A Short One

Riedel, which many wine-lovers say makes the best wine glasses around, has always specialized: Bordeaux glasses, Burgundy glasses, even a special size and shape of glass for Zinfandel. Now it has an everyday glass (somewhat like the Zinfandel, actually) for any old wine. The Gourmet Glass (style 416/21) has the thin, polished rim of fine glassware, rather than the thick, rolled rim of the ordinary stuff, but it’s only 6 1/4 inches high, making it easy to put in the dishwasher.
