Perceptronics to Make Systems for Swedish Army

Perceptronics Inc., a producer of computer-based simulation software, said it has received a $1.5-million subcontract to produce virtual reality tank simulator systems for the Swedish army.
Woodland Hills-based Perceptronics, which specializes in computer-based training systems, will join a group of German and Swedish companies from which the Swedish army has ordered new tanks and training devices.
Perceptronics is expected to make initial deliveries of its tank simulator devices in about 10 months.
