Seniors at Risk Too in 6th Street Area

In the articles about the (Santa Ana) police sweep on 3rd Street, one fact has been overlooked: There is within the 6th Street territory a senior apartment complex just south of Flower Park. About two blocks away, at 1st and Ross streets, there are two more senior complexes. All of these complexes have had break-ins and, within the last two weeks, the complexes on Ross have each had a violent break-in that resulted in the resident being sent to the hospital.
In all the years I have lived here, I have always made it a point to not get off the bus, even just across the street, after dark, which means I must be home by 5 p.m. in the winter. How about remembering the seniors who are in danger as well as showing concern for the families who live in the area?
