ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc.: The Costa Mesa pharmaceutical company reported a loss of $2.8 million, or 14 cents a share, for the third quarter. That compared to a loss of $2.3 million, or 11 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales were down slightly to $15.4 million from $15.8 million. For the first nine months of 1994, ICN’s loss was $14.2 million, or 69 cents a share, compared to a loss of $4.2 million, or 22 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Nine-month sales were unchanged at $48.2 million.
