For the second consecutive week, Feterik drove the Griffins to a game-winning touchdown in the waning minutes. This time, Feterik accounted for all 83 yards of a drive he finished with a 30-yard touchdown pass to Stan Guyness with 1:15 remaining. The Griffins held on for a 35-32 victory over Esperanza and extended their unbeaten streak to 43 games. Feterik passed for 369 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 1,414 yards and 15 touchdown passes in the 4 1/2 games he has played. “He just seems to thrive on the pressure stuff,” Los Alamitos Coach John Barnes said.

* Servite, junior. Gained 302 all-purpose yards and scored four touchdowns in the Friars’ 47-21 victory over Saddleback. He returned a punt 99 yards for a touchdown.

* El Dorado, junior. Rushed for 79 yards and three first-quarter touchdowns and intercepted three passes in a 26-13 victory over Katella.
