In the Garden Grove League:
Lynn Wu takes singles title--La Quinta’s Lynn Wu defeated Tien Nguyen of Santiago, 6-1, 6-0, to win the singles title.
Yee-Luu and Lyly Tran of Los Amigos took the doubles title with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Santiago’s Yvonne Vu and Mai-Uien Huynh.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Bray takes singles title--Top-seeded Michelle Bray of Laguna Beach defeated Laguna Hills’ Elizabeth Yim, 6-1, 6-2, to win the singles title.
In the all-Laguna Beach doubles final, Lindsey Weiss and Amanda Hastings-Phillips defeated Sarah Cohen and Vanessa Zajfen, 6-4, 6-3.
In the Sunset League:
Edison pair wins--Edison doubles players Tami Demaree and Susie Krum defeated Michelle Schneider and Alison Miller of Los Alamitos, 6-1, 7-5 in the final.
In Century League girls’ volleyball:
Orange 3, El Modena 0--Tenth-ranked Orange (16-0, 10-0) defeated third-place El Modena (6-4), 15-6, 15-9, 16-14.
In the Empire League:
Katella 3, Cypress 1--Katella (12-4, 9-1) earned share of its first league title with a 1-15, 15-9, 15-6, 15-0 victory over third-place Cypress (6-4).
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 3, Buena Park 0--Eighth-ranked La Habra (13-1, 9-1) finished tied for the league title with Sunny Hills by winning 15-3, 15-5, 15-6.
Sunny Hills 3, Sonora 0--Christie Blunt had seven aces to lead No. 4 Sunny Hills (15-1, 9-1) to a 15-1, 15-3, 16-14 victory.
In the Orange League:
Valencia 3, Western 0--La Quinta Alexander, Carrie Ritchey and Michelle Shear each had seven kills to lead Valencia (13-3, 10-0), 15-6, 15-6, 15-2.
In the Sea View League:
Corona del Mar 3, El Toro 2--Kelly Campbell had 20 kills and Kathryn Rice 19 to lead second-place Corona del Mar (8-6, 8-2) to a 15-13, 13-15, 14-16, 15-13, 15-5 victory over third-place El Toro (5-5).
In the South Coast League:
Mater Dei 3, Capistrano Valley 0--Abigail Daniels had 12 kills to lead ninth-ranked Mater Dei (14-4, 8-2) to a 16-14, 15-7, 15-2 victory. The Monarchs finish second in league; Capistrano Valley (5-5) third.
In the Sunset League:
Edison 3, Marina 2--Second-ranked Edison (15-1, 9-1) won the league title with a 15-10, 15-8, 11-15, 9-15, 15-1 victory over Marina (5-5), which finished tied with Esperanza for third. Esperanza will receive the automatic playoff spot.
In South Coast league water polo:
San Clemente 16, Mission Viejo 6--Andy Bailey and Jordon Hewko each had five goals for San Clemente as the Tritons (22-2, 5-0) defeated Mission Viejo and win their eighth South Coast League title in 14 years.
