OUTLOOK
La Canada has a history of success. The Spartans have won seven consecutive league titles and have reached the semifinals each of the past three years. In 1992, they won the Division III-A championship. Petit averaged 16 points a game and was All-Southern Section and Foley also is a returning starter. Lack of size could be a weakness. “But we shoot extremely well,” Hofman said.
Kennedy Cosgrove, Jeff Fletcher, Dana Haddad, Vince Kowalick and Michael Lazarus contributed to these capsules.
