Site May Change for Semifinal

The Mater Dei-Los Alamitos Southern Section Division I semifinal football game might be moved to Friday at Anaheim Stadium, Mater Dei Coach Bruce Rollinson said.

“We have a 50-50 shot,” Rollinson said. “It would be good for Orange County and good for the CIF to move it to Anaheim Stadium.”

If the game is not moved, it most likely will be at Cerritos College on Friday or Saturday, Rollinson said. A decision on the site and date will be made today.

In the other Division I semifinal, Trabuco Hills Coach Jim Barnett said he would prefer to have Friday’s game against La Puente Bishop Amat, the No. 1-ranked team in the state, at Trabuco Hills, but that the Southern Section wants to have it at Orange Coast College.
