Panel Predicts Strong Economic Growth in ‘95: The 17-member panel of executives, academics and other labor market experts is forecasting that the nation’s strong economic growth will continue next year and that U.S. unemployment will remain at about 5.6%. The Human Resources Forecast group--sponsored by UCLA’s graduate school of management and headed by New York labor economist Audrey Freedman--said the recovery of America’s trading partners is extending the nation’s business expansion. At the same time, the panel found that the growing wage gap in the U.S. economy is “sapping the American sense of well-being.”
