Quarterback Jeff Hostetler was named AFC offensive player of the week for completing 22 of 29 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders’ 24-17 victory at San Diego. He is the third Raider to gain the honor this season along with Tim Brown and Terry McDaniel, who both have won it twice.
