Coast Chandlery Fills Emergency Supply Orders

Coast Chandlery, a marine supply retailer with outlets in Oxnard and Ventura, was able to fill all orders from boaters needing emergency equipment during the recent storms, according to Steve Buenger, the firm’s president.
“We provided immediate response to all customer requests for emergency supplies and foul-weather gear,” he said.
Shortly before the storms hit, Coast completed an expansion of its Oxnard unit at Channel Islands Harbor. The expansion added 800 new items to the store’s stock, helping the firm respond to boaters’ storm needs, Buenger added.
Coast plans to add more new items before the 1995 boating season opens this spring. The company’s stores carry marine hardware and electronics, sportfishing supplies, gifts and boaters’ apparel.
