Geri Spencer, director of human resources at Martin V. Smith & Associates, an Oxnard development firm, has been named chairwoman of the Ventura County Scouting for Food drive.
She will direct the efforts of 7,000 Boy Scouts in the annual drive, which starts Saturday. This year, the county’s Scouts hope to collect 50,000 pounds of food for needy families.
Spencer is married to Richard D. Spencer, executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Smith concern.
