HUNTINGTON BEACH : Classes in Spanish to Aid Pupils’ Parents

Special help for Spanish-speaking parents of schoolchildren is being offered at a series of night classes jointly conducted by the Huntington Beach Adult School and the Huntington Beach City School District.
The sessions, which are free and conducted in Spanish, are offered every Thursday through March 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley, 2309 Delaware St.
Parents will be given information on how to help their children with math, science, homework and reading. A Huntington Beach police officer will speak on ways to prevent gang and drug involvement.
