Corona del Mar Blocker Chooses Radford

Wrenna Johnson, a 5-foot-10 All-Sea View League middle blocker from Corona del Mar, has orally committed to play volleyball at Radford University, her father, Larry, said Tuesday. Radford, a Division I school in Virginia, competes in the Big South Conference.
Today is the first day field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and water polo players can sign letters of intent to accept scholarships. The signing period ends Aug. 1.
