Newbury Park 68, Fullerton 21-- Top-seeded Newbury Park (26-1) led 31-3 midway through the second quarter and coasted to its 21st consecutive victory.
“They deserve every accolade they get,” Fullerton Coach Marty Perez said. “They could have made it a lot worse if they wanted to.”
Newbury Park, ranked No. 1 in the state among Division III schools, will meet Redondo Beach Redondo Union on Saturday.
Fullerton’s Nadia Hoerner, averaging 18 points, was limited to six--four in the fourth quarter. Fullerton finished 14-12.
