BRIEFLY : Homeless: Auction of Playhouses Set
- Share via
Twelve playhouses, currently on display at the Santa Monica Place Mall, will be auctioned off March 4 to benefit a local nonprofit agency for the homeless.
The playhouses, designed by 12 Westside architectural firms, are part of The Playhouse Project, a fund-raising event for the Ocean Park Community Center’s Turning Point Homeless Shelter.
Proceeds from the sales will go toward children’s programs at the shelter.
The uniquely designed playhouses, on display since early this month, vary in size and style, from modern to more traditional architecture.
