Countywide : Beyond Limits Plans Dinner to Raise Funds
- Share via
Beyond Limits, a charity helping “at risk” youths resist drugs and pursue an education, will have its fifth annual fund-raising dinner March 19.
The event will include dinner, dessert and beverages against a musical background of Native American drumming and folk entertainment from the Peruvian Andes. A silent auction for prizes including a weekend in Big Bear and a Newport Beach sailing trip also will be part of the event.
Beyond Limits helps 13- to 18-year-olds through a motivational program that combines classroom education with physical training and outdoor excursions. One trip planned for this summer would take youngsters to Chihuahua, Mexico, to explore Copper Canyon.
A $10 adult donation and $5 child’s fee is requested. The dinner will be at the Santa Ana Senior Center, 424 W. 3rd St., Santa Ana. For more information, call Nancy Reed at (714) 851-2576 or Luis Ruan at (714) 830-6641.
