California Amplifier Inc., a Camarillo manufacturer of microwave signal reception devices, has named Kris Kelkar as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Kelkar, who comes to the company from General Instrument Corp., will oversee worldwide sales operations at California Amplifier’s headquarters and its offices in Paris, Sao Paulo, Brazil and Bangkok.
In a separate move, the company announced that it had hired Robert Hannah, a former Hughes manager, as vice president of engineering.
