VENTURA : Council Approves Homes’ Completion
- Share via
Five years after approving plans for 52 single-family homes in east Ventura, the City Council on Monday accepted the project as finished.
Council members voted unanimously to accept the notice of completion after little discussion.
Stonehedge Partners, which built the houses on the northwest corner of Telegraph Road and Petit Avenue, earlier this year stipulated that all of the required roads, storm drains and water and sewer lines were completed.
The work was inspected by City Engineer Rick Raives, who certified that all of the public improvements had been made according to standards.
It will now be the responsibility of the city to maintain the publicly owned portions of the development, Raives said.
