Los Angeles voters will go to the polls today to decide on eight City Council seats and eight ballot measures. Three Board of Education seats and four Community College Board offices are also up for election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Information on polling places is available from the office of the city clerk, election division, at (213) 485-3581. Also today, special elections to fill vacant seats are being held in the 59th Assembly District in the San Gabriel Valley, and in the Whittier City School District.
