Bruce Lehman has been named to the new position of executive vice president of operations for the Akins Cos., an Irvine operator of residential real estate firms. He is responsible for all aspects of project operations, including land acquisition, project management, construction, budgeting and scheduling, and sales and marketing. Lehman had been Akins’ chief financial officer and executive vice president for the past six years. Succeeding him in that position is Patrick B. Patterson, who was previously chief financial officer with an East Coast real estate investment trust.
