May Mann; Hollywood Columnist and Biographer

May Mann, syndicated Hollywood columnist and biographer who interviewed and wrote about stars for several decades. Her books included “Elvis and the Colonel,” “Jayne Mansfield” and “My Friend Clark” (on actor Clark Gable). She was syndicated to 400 newspapers by King Features, Faucett Publications and General Features. She also wrote for the New York Herald-Tribune before it folded. Miss Mann was noted for her charitable work, especially for producing benefit shows for the Jewish Home for the Aging. She was also active in the Mormon Church. On April 15 in Los Angeles at an unreported age.
