LONG BEACH : Meetings to Focus on Economy, Trade

Foreign trade, the Alameda Corridor project and the economies of the Los Angeles and Long Beach harbors will be discussed at a daylong business conference today sponsored by the Long Beach, Wilmington and San Pedro Peninsula chambers of commerce.
Organizers expect about 300 business people to attend the conference, called “Harbor Partnership: Bridging the Gap.”
The conference will be at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, 100 S. Pine Ave. Information: (310) 832-7272.
